Usage / Application Direction

In order to reach desirable results with CreteCoat 450 the application should be executed according to a specific scheme. Here are some key guidelines:

Prepare the Surface:
The preparation of the substrate is an important factor as it determines the level of bonding that take place. The surface should be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and other contaminants.

Mixing:
For CreteCoat 450 it should be blended well so that the right chemical reaction and durability is achieved. Both the components must be mixed properly to achieve a homogenized system.

Application:
This product can be applied by brush or roller techniques or by spray equipment. As the type of substrate will determine the steps, so will the particular needs of the advanced analogue project.

Drying & Curing:
It is recommended that CreteCoat 450 cures for selective periods that can only be determined by the nature of the climate prevailing at the site of the work. Make sure to allow sufficient time for the surface of the product to cure before recoating or applying the surface to use.

Ventilation and Safety:
This is because CreteCoat 450 is a solvent borne system and it is therefore recommended that undercoating be done with an appropriate amount of cross ventilation.
